These have been acquired with the generous help of the Wilkins' family who have owned them for many years.

The land is to be rezoned for public purposes associated with the future interpretation, maintenance and development of the Arch of Victory and Avenue of Honour.
This concludes a long held ambition of the committee first developed in the original 1996 landscape management plan, which also set the direction for the restoration of both the arch and the avenue as a long-term project.
We are delighted with progress that has been made in this respect. This WW1 memorial ranks very highly in international significance and the work done with restoration is very timely, given the forthcoming 2015 centenary celebrations of the Anzac landing at Gallipoli.
The committee is very grateful for the outstanding support received from the City of Ballarat Council and its officers for these important achievements.
