Wednesday morning's paper reported on "Camp Street stench" with the lack of opening of public toilets and Ballarat council saying they are searching for funds. What a cop out.

For a start, I have never ever come across a council that wastes so much of the public purse as the Ballarat council does:
1. Administration is far too top heavy.
2. The CEO is paid more than the Prime Minister. What a joke.
3. Money wasted on surveys, consultants, etc now concerning the Civic Hall, with council hell bent on not listening to the ratepayers (who pay councillors' wages), but want to do their own thing.
4. The Learmonth saleyards debacle, or has council purposely forgotten about that, cost ratepayers millions of dollars.
5. Now council wants to wreck the railway station precinct, which we don't want. More parking is required and that is just for starters. Why do you think several Sturt Street shops are empty?
It has come time now for a vote of no confidence with this council.
