Ballarat transfer station
With regular green waste collection still at least six months away, Ballarat residents looking to get rid of Christmas trees have two options.
Dropping the tree off at the Gillies Street transfer station will result in the same cost of $16.60 per cubic metre cost for green waste.
If you can’t drop the tree off yourself, SITA will pick it up on a non-recycling pick-up day for $10, although the tree would need be small enough to fit into a bin. For more information, contact SITA: 5339 1970
