BALLARAT export Jordan Roughead is in line to be the next leader of the Western Bulldogs after being announced as the club's vice-captain on Monday morning.

The 24-year-old former Lake Wendouree and North Ballarat Rebels player is joined by experienced campaigners Dale Morris and Matthew Boyd and midfielder Tom Liberatore in a five-man leadership group, alongside captain Bob Murphy.
"I am humbled to be given the opportunity and great responsibility to support Bob to best lead my teammates back up the ladder," Roughead told westernbulldogs.com.au
"With the inclusion of Matthew Boyd, Dale Morris and Tom Liberatore we feel the group represents a great mix of experience and valuable leadership capabilities."
Roughead has played 72 games with the Bulldogs after being picked up in the 2008 AFL Draft.
