The member for Ripon, Louise Staley, has funded a kit to help clean the graffiti from the British Hotel in Creswick.
The pub was defaced recently, with graffiti on the entire side wall of the building.
Ms Staley sourced the necessary kit items to donate them to the Creswick Neighbourhood Centre for community use to remove graffiti.
The kit contains a wheelie bin, which acts as storage and fills with water, a pressure hose, face protection and rubber gloves.
“The best way to deter graffiti is to get rid of it as quick as possible.
“It’s not as rewarding for the perpetrator if they can’t see their handiwork,” Ms Staley said.
