But, and a big but at that, I believe in the fact that these two men have done more for their fellow human beings in the jail than most of the free people in society would ever even think about doing for their fellow man.

They have given comfort to so many in the wretched jail conditions with essentials such as soap and tooth paste in packs, they have started art, technology and other classes in the prison and studied Christianity while there.

It seems to me that they should be granted some mercy for their deeds to other humans when you look around at how many people in today's society think they own everything and need to do nothing to benefit this world.
