Sullivan, who won the Central Highlands’ top honour in 2013, has lodged a clearance to Redan.
The fearless onballer has been training with the Lions for much of the pre-season after spending the past four years with Waubra.
Sullivan played in a senior premiership with Daylesford in 2009 and left the Bulldogs for Waubra after the 2010 grand fi nal defeat. He then went on to claim a fl ag with the Roos in his fi rst year at the club in 2011.
His runaway victory in the Geoff Taylor Medal count in 2013 came after a disastrous 2012 campaign, which
ended when he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the round-six clash against Hepburn.
Sullivan’s recruitment is a coup for Redan, which has also landed the services of midfi elder Chris Giampaolo
from the North Ballarat Roosters and former Wickliffe-Lake Bolac premiership coach Nick Willox.
The club is still awaiting notice on whether or not the Roosters will clear onballer Nathan Horbury, who has indicated he wants to play with the Lions in 2015.
Horbury has told the Roosters he wants to return to his home club of Redan, but North has refused to let him go as he signed a contract.
Redan is looking to improve on a preliminary fi nal exit at the hands of Ballarat last season and will remain under the care of senior coach Eammon Gill.
The Lions will open their new campaign with a home clash against East Point on Saturday, April 18.
