PAT Shaw launches the defence of his Tour of Murray cycling title on Sunday with "team" as his number one focus.
For Ballarat's Shaw, the priority is ensuring a Genesys Wealth Advisers rider is on top of the podium at the end of the eight-day tour.
Shaw won the event by two seconds last year - edging out now Europe-based teammate Steele Von Hoff.
He took the yellow jersey after finding himself in the right place at the right time, getting into a breakaway which picked up the best part of a minute from others at the top of the general classification.
Shaw believes the tour could easily be decided in a similar manner this year, with up to six of the eight members of his team capable of taking the major honours in the 80-strong field.
