TGIF! Did you see the pic we snapped and put up on Facebook during the week of some painters working on what looked like an outdoor art space in Unicorn Lane?
Well tonight is the official opening of this quirky outdoor gallery. Ballarat is in dire need of cool, free art spaces like this and we have so many laneways that we can use as public art spaces, so I hope we see more pop up around Ballarat. Tonight's exhibition is a selection of local artists’ works. Obviously the event is free and kick starts from 6pm.
Otherwise, if a cocktail is what you're in the mood for, then I have just the thing for you. A Cocktails and Wheels (not sure if those two words work well together in a sentence) event is on from 7.30pm. This event sounds pretty fun and random.
It is a cocktail party where you go on a personalised tour of a collection of unique and wonderful automobiles at the Ballarat Mining Exchange - with a cocktail in your hand. Tickets cost 100 bucks. If you'd like to go along phone 5331 5555.
Have a great weekend!
Feature event
