Well the closest thing to it that is, the ABBA tribute show Abbasession.
As part of the fair’s 45th anniversary, this year’s fair will be celebrating the 1970s with a chance for antique collectors to see how things have changed over the past 45 years.
Ballarat Antique Fair organiser John Markworth said this year’s fair was all about taking a trip down memory lane.
“The ’70s are interesting because the Baby Boomers, like me, can remember it and we fi nd the younger ones have never seen it,” he said.
“We’re living in a time capsule, and those things from the seventies are now vintage and antique ...” Abbasession will be joined by The Village People’s Indian, played by Jay from The New Recruits, on Saturday from 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
The ’70s theme will continue with a special fashion exhibition on display over the three-day event.
This year’s fair will be held over March 7-9 at the Ballarat Exhibition Centre.
