Burton, in the Vics’ starting five, chalked up 11 points in a 34-point win against Western Australia in the women’s final at Dandenong.
The Vics advanced undefeated to the finals from six preliminary games and won a semi-final against South Australia by 30 points.
Burton averaged 9.38 points per game and a tournament-high 15 points in the semi-final.
This is Burton’s second year competing in the under-20 nationals.
She entered this year’s championships after a full season training with Women’s National Basketball League club Melbourne Boomers and Boomers head coach Guy Molloy, the former Ballarat Miners coach and elite performance manager.
Burton will re-join Harvey Norman Ballarat Rush for the upcoming South East Australian Basketball League season.
