TWO of Lake Wendouree’s long-serving netballers have reached significant milestones in recent weeks.
Jacqui Clifton chalked up her 150th game in Lakers colours against Bacchus Marsh, with Ashlee Taylor reaching the same mark against Redan at the weekend.
Both are premiership players with the club, with Clifton currently playing in the B-grade ranks, and Taylor the C-grade captain.
Lake Wendouree A-grade coach Sally McLean said both girls had been great servants of the club.
“Jacqui’s been a really long-serving player, but has had time off having a daughter and has had a couple of seasons off due to work commitments,” McLean said.
“Ashlee is a really good club person and has played continually since under-18s.”
