SEBASTOPOL Vikings will come up against their old foes from their debut season in the state league competition when it travels to Hoppers Crossing tonight.
The Vikings will meet Truganina Hornets under lights, in what will be the first time the two sides have met since Sebastopol's debut season in the FFV state league in 2013.
Sebastopol competed with Truganina in its first season in the competition in 2013, before moving up last year.
Now that the Hornets have been promoted to division four, they will resume hostilities once again.
Vikings coach Michael Busija said centre back Alex Antonelli would be rested with hamstring tightness, not worth risking after recurring issues last year.
Into the side will come attacker Jai Sharp, forcing a reshuffle among the ranks.
Busija said his side would have to be more than careful not to concede on the counter attack, wary of the opposition firepower.
Truganina put six goals past their opponents in the season opener last week in a dominant display.
"They've got a lot of attacking options and building up a strong defence is what we have been focusing on," Busija said.
"We can't read too much into their results last week though until we have played 90 minutes against them."
