I'M A spring baby, so, of course, I love this time of year. Finals fever is in the air and as soon as the sun hits your skin, I swear you instantly feel that little bit better. We were blessed with brilliant weather at the weekend and luckily the sun has kept on shining today.
Usually Monday is my lazy night, but all this sunshine is motivating me to try something new. Plus the thought of summer just being around the corner always motivates me to lose my winter coat!
I've never actually tried zumba, but I love to dance, so tonight I thought I'd give it a shot.
A zumba fitness class is on at Curtain Call Performing Arts Studios at 209 Armstrong Street South at 6.15pm until 7pm. The class costs $9. It's supposed to be pretty fun and a really good workout. Otherwise, you can always put on your runners and head for a walk around our beautiful Lake Wendouree.
We are so lucky to have a place for public exercise and since moving to Melbourne I truly miss being able to run down to the lake for a bit of serenity. Have a great night.
Something new to try Wheelchair basketball is held on Monday night at Ballarat Grammar School on Forest Street. You can enter via gate D.
