Collins Street has reopened to traffic after a diesel spill at the Reserve Bank forced its closure between Spring and Exhibition streets on Tuesday afternoon.

The Melbourne Fire Bridge attended a large diesel spill at the Reserve Bank, near the corner of Collins and Exhibition streets just after midday.
About 3000 litres of diesel fuel spilled in the basement car park of the building.
The CBD street was closed for more than three hours, reopening about 3.30pm.
Motorists and pedestrians were diverted from the area, but tram services were allowed to continue along their usual routes.
"[The spill] is inside the building," MFB spokesman Keith Robinson said.
Earlier reports of an evacuation were false.
The cause of the leak is being investigated.
