Victoria Police has released an image of the man alleged to have sexually assaulted, punched and yelled abuse at a woman in Melbourne's CBD.

The 20-year-old woman was walking along La Trobe Street before stopping at the top of Eagle Alley opposite Flagstaff Gardens to get a cigarette from her bag about 11.50pm on Tuesday, March 10.
She was approached from behind by four men, one of whom grabbed her, sexually assaulted her and punched her in the face.
The other men yelled abuse at the young woman.
She managed to break free from the group and run to safety.
Her dress was torn in the assault and she suffered a black eye and cuts to her face.
The woman had been walking north along King Street, before turning east into La Trobe Street.
 
The four men, who were wearing dress shirts and jeans, are described as being Caucasian and aged in their early to mid-30s.
