As a candidate for Central Ward I state that I am an entirely independent candidate and that I do not belong to or am influenced by any political party.
The only people to influence me in decision making will be the people of Ballarat.
I ask all candidates to declare any membership of a political party.
I support anyone's right to belong to a political party so long as they put Ballarat first.
Of late there has been too much behind-the-scenes party politics involving those not elected to council.
