Ballarat will host the second round of the six-round series, in what is the second biggest event on the Ballarat motorcycle racing calendar.
Competitors from all over Victoria and some from interstate will race, in what promises to be an action packed weekend of racing. Headlining the card will be national women’s champion Emma Milesevic.
The Lal Lal-based teenager is one of the most promising prospects in Australian racing and will go in as raging favourite to take out the open women’s title.
Ballarat Rovers MCC president Neale Perkins said the Monza Park was in near-perfect condition and promised to present itself for a great weekend of racing. He said although the sport fall away somewhat a few years back, it was currently experiencing a resurgence.
Racing starts at 9am on Sunday, with free entry for spectators.
NOTE: The print edition of this story mentions racing on Saturday. Spectators are urged not to attend the track on Saturday. Racing is on Sunday only.
