AFTER winning a seat and being sworn into office, it is still them and us with Labor and Liberal, but I don't know where the smattering of senate loose ends fit in.

Nor would the two mainstream parties, and sometimes ditto the stray drifting balance of power holders themselves.
The swearing in under oath on the Bible to serve Australia well should also include the wording "and honour all our promises". This is the only way they can be held accountable, and breaking it should be perjury and punishable by law. Only three excuses are allowed for a breach of promise.
First is a lack of money (a good old standby they are possibly aware of. Obviously oblivious to that before the election).
Second is lack of confidence from the senate and some backbenchers of their own kindred as they were ill conceived total duds (the policies not the pollies).
Third is the stalling on delivery until after the next election, then exterminated from office.
