Driving towards Gillies Street North in Grevillea Road, the driver clipped a parked Toyota Corolla before hitting the house’s fence head on.
Police, paramedics and firefighters attended the scene.
The woman was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital as a precautionary measure.
Police said they would conduct drug and alcohol tests once she had been attended to at the hospital.
The owner of the house, who did not want to be named, said he was left stunned by the accident.
“My wife heard the bang, and we went and had a look,” he said.
“And there she was.”
The resident said the woman was in shock but had not been seriously hurt.
“I built that fence myself,” he said.
