Nearly 130 cars across a number of classes will do battle from 3pm to 10.30pm.
Drivers are more than keen after poor weather cancelled last weekend’s scheduled show.
The season ends in May for many of the competitors, with just a couple of events remaining at Redline this season.
Des Birkin, Jack Bishop, Darren Giacometti, Andrew Burgoyne, Brooke Ferguson and Clint Purdie are among favourites for the Street Stocks, while a deep field will fight out the Victorian Speedway Council Open Sedan series.
The mixture of V8 modified machines up against V6 four-door sedans promises plenty of entertainment, with track conditions playing an important part in who will come out as champion.
AMCA Nationals are competing for Victorian series round points at this meeting and the field has been bolstered by interstate visitors returning from last week’s Australian title.
Four Tasmanian competitors will look to upset the locals in a strong field that includes Victorians Paul Sullivan, Jamie Collins and Dean Heseltine.
A great field of Standard Saloons also includes the current Victorian champion and home club member Scott Whittle.
Other divisions competing include the Formula V8 Sedans, with Ballarat’s Tony Wilson leading the charge ahead of Lewis Clark and Steve Hodder, while the Junior Sedan division includes Redline’s Kye Walters.
Rounding out the show is the Mini Sprintcars, which are wickedly fast around Redline Raceway.
The venue is at 569 Yankee Flat Road, Mount Helen, with racing from 3pm.
