Is TV in trouble? Here in the hi-fi store, there's a toddler in a stroller parked before a bank of enormous televisions. Like these pricey internet TVs, the boy is on "mute". But unlike his parents nearby, he is not mesmerised by the big screens: he's hunched and frowning over the tablet device they've given him, falling into his own colourful animated cartoon.
