MUCH-LOVED chanteuse Julia Stone is heading to the region tonight for a captivating performance.
One half of brother-sister duo Angus and Julia Stone, the songstress will be performing in Castlemaine as part of her national tour.
The performance coincides with the release of her first album as a solo artist By The Horns which was released earlier this year.
The songs for the album were composed in California, refined in France and sculpted in Australia and India, and evoke the same feelings and emotions that Julia's work has always evoked.
Julia previously told The Courier that her songwriting techniques had not differed from when she started her music career in 2006.
Encapsulating the joys and tragedies of love, her songs are a journey through the ups and downs of life.
Julia Stone will be performing at Castlemaine's Theatre Royal tonight, Thursday, September 6. Tickets cost $40. For bookings, visit www.juliastonemusic.com
