THE 2012 Meredith Music Festival has completely sold out of all tickets.
For the 20th time in the event's 22-year history, the festival has sold out faster than ever.
The MMF took just 20 minutes to sell out when the tickets went on sale at 11am last Friday.
A MMF spokesperson said prior to that, demand in the subscriber ballot was bigger than ever.
Stores where tickets were on sale experienced queues at each location long enough to account for all the tickets inside before the doors even opened.
The keenest festival devotees arrived at Greville Records at 5pm on Wednesday night and stayed overnight until 9am the next day.
Hundreds of others gathered overnight to secure tickets at all stores including at Polyester City and Fitzroy, and in Geelong, Ballarat and on the Surf Coast.
If you missed out, your next opportunity for some quality time in the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre is Golden Plains Lucky 7 on March 9 to 11, 2013.
The ballot is not open yet, but you can subscribe at www.goldenplains.com.au
Last year, Golden Plains Sixxx sold out quicker than at any time in her history.
