Ms Moss is blind and the first in her family to gain a university qualification.
She plans to continue with her studies in either an honours or post-graduate year, studying psychology and history.
“It’s taken me seven years, but it’s a very big day for me,” Ms Moss said.
“I had a lot of help from the disability support centre, especially helping me with lots of research. I’m really excited to be graduating.
“There was a time when I thought this wouldn’t be me.”
She is one of 1200 students who will graduate from FedUni this week in seven ceremonies running until Thursday.
Mathematical sciences and education double-degree graduate Sarah Stephens and Rainbow Silvertree, who completed a biomedical science degree and is currently in the honours program, were awarded the University Medal.
Sarah Smith, who completed a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, received the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award.
Vice-chancellor David Battersby said the university always looked forward to its graduation ceremonies and the special memories they created.
“We congratulate all of our graduating students and hope they enjoy rewarding lives and careers,” Professor Battersby said.
