Around 65 students will take part in the performance, which is expected to draw a big crowd.
Oriel Forsyth, who plays Julia Sullivan in the show, said the students had been working on the performance for the past three months. “It is based off The Wedding Singer movie with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore and it is just so much fun,” she said.
“It is so much fun to perform and so much fun to watch.
“You know with some of the musicals that are new, you don’t know the songs and you can’t relate to them because they are not catchy but this
show, you will leave your seats singing songs, I can assure you of that.”
The show will be staged at the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts for three nights beginning on Thursday.
