Micallef polled maximum votes for the second week in a row for North City, booting seven goals in his side’s 222-point trouncing of Melton South.
He now sits on 13 votes but remains three behind Darley captain Shane Page.
Page was unable to receive any votes at the weekend due to Darley facing the bye. East Point’s Daniel Tung and Sunbury’s Josh Burgess share third position.
