Adam Eddy has signed on for two years at North Ballarat, crossing from Meeniyan Dumbalk United in the Leongatha District Cricket Association.
North Ballarat president Scott Wright said the club was thrilled to find its new coach so early in the season.
The left-arm, medium bowler/middle-lower order batsmen will replace last season’s coach, Jason Crosbie, who has stepped down from the role.
Eddy is expected to start North’s preseason campaign in late June.
“We feel Adam is a really good signing for us,” Wright said.
“We know we could’ve been better over the last few years.
“Things are looking really positive for us now with Adam coming on board though.”
The Roosters finished in last position on the ladder for the 2014-15 season, managing just one win for the
season.
