Serious damage in Haddon crash

TWO drivers have walked away unharmed after a crash at Haddon yesterday morning.

The two-car collision involving a red Nissan ute and silven Holden station wagon occurred about 10.45am at the intersection of Sago Hill and Kopkes roads.

Ballarat Highway Patrol Senior Constable Tony Creanor said the 75-year-old male driver of the Nissan ute had been travelling south along Sago Hill Road and the Holden station wagon was east-bound on Kopkes Road when the crash happened.

“Luckily no one was hurt,” Senior Constable Creanor said.

Both cars were extensively damaged.

The intersection was blocked for about 90 minutes while CFA crews attended the scene.
