Ballarat teen robbed at knife point 

Police are hunting knife-wielding bandit after a Ballarat teen was robbed last night.

Ballarat Police Sergeant Luke Miller said the victim, in his late teens, was confronted by the attacker at the intersection of Albert and Vickers Streets in Sebastopol at 9.30pm.

Sergeant Miller said the male offender, also believed to be in his late teens, produced a small knife and demanded the victim 's iPod.

"The offender took the iPod and fled on foot," he said.

"There was no physical violence and the victim was not injured in any way."

Sergeant Miller said the only description of the offender was that he was in his late teens or early 20s and was wearing dark coloured clothing.
