Teammate Rhys Ellis chipped in with six goals as the Devils made up for last week’s effort, in which coach Jarrod Edwards said his side had failed to gain enough percentage against Melton South.
Darren Lenoard and Anthony Chiu were also among the best.
Sebastopol forward Michael Powell managed four goals for his side to be named best on ground for his side.
Meanwhile, Grant Bell was unstoppable with 11 goals as Redan put Melton to the sword at MacPherson Park.
Bell had six majors to his name in the early stages of the second quarter as the GJ Gardner Lions embarrassed an undermanned Melton side.
In fact, the Bloods failed to even hit the scoreboard in the first half and only managed its first goal half way through the third quarter.
A goal to Cameron McCallum in the dying minutes managed to eventually propel Melton into double figures, with the final scoreboard reading Redan 29.13 (187) to Melton’s 2.2 (14).
Further down the road, Ballarat’s joy after last week’s maiden victory did not last long as it went down to Sunbury to the tune of 64 points.
Although it did not have the match all its own way on the scoreboard, Sunbury had control of the play for most of the day and once it started converting its opportunities, ran away with the result, 19.12 (126) to 9.8 (62).
Jack Sheahan had his best match for the season with seven goals, with Matthew Medcraft named best on ground.
Sam James and Zane Thompson kicked three goals each for Ballarat.
At Eastern Oval, East Point scraped home with an 11-point win over a brave Melton South side.
The Roos led by just three points at the final break and looked in danger of going down in a massive upset.
Despite their inaccuracy, they eventually held on for a 10.19 (79) to 10.8 (68) victory.
