Competing with regular team mate, South Australia’s Sam von Einem in the doubles, the pair were dominant in the preliminary rounds.
In their first three matches, they won 3-1 against Russia,Turkey and Germany.
However, the pair fell agonisingly short in the Gold medal match, going down 2-3 against tournament favourites France.
A member of the WestVic Academy of Sport, Carroll trains at Ballarat Table Tennis Centre under the guidance of coach Alois Rosario.
Rosario was also in Spain in his capacity as the Paralympic Preparation Program assistant coach.
The tournament, held in Barcelona, finished on Monday.
