Pupils created two and three dimensional food using clay, paper mache, builder’s foam, cartons and lots of glue.
Cakes, pizzas, ice cream, sushi rolls and eyeball soup are just some of the art pieces that have been on display over the past two weeks.
The idea came from art teachers Donna Pond and Haydi Matthes.
Grade 6 pupil Ally Long made a bowl of cereal with milk pouring in it using air drying clay. “I’ve seen a lot of cake videos on YouTube. I thought it would be really creative and fun to do and it definitely was.”
Junior pupils worked on a set project, while senior children chose their project.
