Written by Amanda Stone and directed by Carol B Cole, the pantomime is loosely based on the popular fairy tale and will feature local actors Jacinta Antonelli, Katie Bindu, John Coffey, Carol Cole, Alistair George, Tessa Marshall and Bill Weidner.
An interactive show especially for children, the play’s young audience will be invited to help Snow White as she searches for her one true love.
In traditional panto spirit, the show will feature gender-crossing actors and topical humour, songs, comedy, mystery and dance.
CTC publicist Helen Cossenas said the show would be a brilliant first-time experience for young audience members and a fabulous introduction to live theatre.
“The children will be able to get involved by singing along with the songs, getting up and dancing to help cheer up Snow White and cheering on for good to prevail over evil,” she said.
“Children will leave the theatre knowing they have helped the beautiful Snow White escape from the wicked Queen.
“Come along and join in the fun!”
Snow White in Pantomime will be held between July 7 and July 9. Tickets cost $8 for the day-time performances at 11am and 2pm.
Two adult cabaret nights will also be held on July 10 and 11 at 8pm. Tickets cost $15.
