The 1960's British pop group will perform in Ballarat next week, taking fans on a trip down memory lane.
Speaking to The Courier from the UK, bassist Tom McGuinnes said performing today was just as exciting as it was fifty years ago.
"It still is magical, in some ways even better," he said.
"In 1994 we had girls screaming at us so loud we couldn't hear the music which we loved at the time, now we play and it is about the music and we enjoy it just as much.”
While crowds are often filled with fans who have followed the band their entire career, McGuinness said over the past few years they have noticed a few younger faces attending as well.
"We were in Tokyo two years ago and the audience was mostly in their twenties and thirties," he said.
"Today you have whole generations growing up loving 60's music."
Originally known as Manfred Mann, the group scored three number one British hits and became much-loved for their songs If You Gotta Go, Go Now, and Pretty Flamingo and 5-4-3-2-1.
