While it might seem like a lot of ears, Voice FM radio co-hosts Dave McBain and Jamie Smetham are hoping to make it the most listened to radio show in Ballarat.
For the past eight years, the radio segment has become favoured by many of the region's sport-lovers. But for Mr McBain, who started the show as a place to share his love of sport with listeners, he would one day like to make a career out of it.
“I was always interested in sport and thought I had a great head for radio. Voice FM gave me a chance to have a show and I jumped at it,” he said.
“We need more people to tune into our radio station. We rely heavily on volunteers and sponsers money to make the station run, the more people we have that support our sponsors and tune in the easier it will be for us to run a fantastic radio station.”
All Bases Covered airs on Monday between 6-7pm on 99.9 Voice FM.
My earliest memory is... fishing with my dad at Lake Burrumbeet.
When I was a child I wanted to be... a professional footballer.
My parents always said... if you can't be a footballer, at least look like one.
My greatest moment in my life was... the birth of my son.
In four words, I am... talkative, confident, informative and positive.
I wish I'd never worn... a purple Volcom t-shirt that I'm still paying for at my football club.
I often wonder... what the world would be like without violence.
When I want to spoil myself I... buy golfing equipment or fishing gear.
The first thing I reach for on a Sunday morning is... the TV remote, newspaper and my mobile phone.
The hardest thing I've done in my life is... move overseas and live in London.
My ideal day would be spent... having a barbeque with my family and mates, watching the footy and having a few relaxing beers.
I love... watching the Collingwood Magpies win the premiership – it hasn't happened enough for my liking.
In life, I've learnt... there is more to life than work.
