Her business, which helps people with their CVs, has been nominated for two Telstra Victoria Business Awards for the second year in a row.
Ms Brown is confident but knows she has some strong competition.
“Do I think we will win? Absolutely. No, you’ve got to hope though,” she said.

The workload, across Ballarat and then in Geelong and the western suburbs of Melbourne covered by her sister-in-law, has increased recently due to big redundancies.
“It’s very busy, unfortunately because we’ve had quite a few redundancies in Ballarat recently, at Allied Mills, Telstra, bigger places like that,” she said.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Tuesday.
Ms Brown said she was excited for the big event and happy to be picked again.
“It’s great to be recognised,” she said.
