BALLARAT Grammar School has kicked its way into Victoria’s premier girls’ secondary school football final.
Grammar will play Methodist Ladies’ College (Kew) in the Herald Sun Senior Girls’ Shield division one grand final at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, August 1. The match will be a curtain-raiser to the North Melbourne and Carlton clash.
Ballarat Grammar progressed with an 83-point win over Woodeligh Grammar School from Langwarrin at Casey Fields, Cranbourne on Friday.

Ballarat Grammar School is the reigning shield holder in the competition, which is in its fourth year.
With the MCG unavailable this year, the boys’ Herald Sun Shield Grand Final will be played North Port Oval, Port Melbourne, on Saturday August 8.
