The bi-annual "Women In Football Tribute" at Ballarat Leagues Club will feature a panel with an array of sporting experience.
Western Bulldogs vice-president Dr Susan Alberti, Australian netball great Eloise Southby and AFL goal umpire Chelsea Roffey will be keynote speakers.
The panel will also include Melbourne Vixens and Australian under-21 player Liz Watson, Ballarat-based Western Bulldogs female footballer Kaitlyn Ashmore and Kellie McLeod, was was the first female field umpire to officiate a BFL senior game.
Ballarat Football Netball League will also be announce the recipient of the BFNL Woman of the Year. BFNL clubs provided nominations. Details of a special “Women in Sport” scholarship, set to be launched by AFL Goldfields in conjunction with Federation University, will also be outlined.
The luncheon was held for the first time in 2011.
