But at Napoleons Primary School on Friday afternoon more than 100 little superheros joined forces to raise money for the school.
Dressed as their favourite superheroes and braving Ballarat’s sub-zero temperatures and heavy rainfall the children took part in the annual camp fundraiser walkathon.
Grade one and two teacher Christine Gartlan said each child completed about seven or eight laps of the 500 metre circuit.
Ms Gartlan said the staff were still in the process of counting the funds but they believed there was more than $2000 raised. Funds will go towards the grade five and six Canberra trip.
