AN EXTENDED break from competition broke an exciting, rejuvenated run for Ballarat Rush – just when the team was starting to play how it wanted. Harvey Norman Rush coach Peter Cunningham said the challenge would be to get that momentum back. Rush is thrown into back-to-back matches more than two weeks since their last SEABL outing.

“The girls are up and about at training,” Cunningham said. “I just hope we can come back and play at the same level.”
Rush will re-gain Olivia Thompson from Emerging Opals duty and has called on youngsters Taylah Wynne and Isabel Fraser to suit up. Rush’s youth league team has an elimination final on Sunday, which means Rush will be stretched to six players for a Frankston road trip on Sunday.
