RocKwiz will rock ‘n roll it way back to Ballarat in October on its RocKwiz Live Salutes the ARIA Hall of Fame national tour.
Prepare for more audience participation, the legendary Contestant Karaoke segment and the show’s trademark no-frills grilling on songs, riffs and anecdotes based on ARIA hall of famers.
This is the fourth RocKwiz national tour with a Ballarat stop confirmed this week to rock the Regent Cinemas as part of this city’s Season of the Arts, which includes the Archibald Prize exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
Queen of the Kwiz Julia Zemiro and rock brain Brian Nankervis will be asking the curly questions. They return with human scoreboard Dugald and the original RocKwiz Orkestra - James Black, Peter Luscombe and Mark Ferrie – with guest music star appearances.
Ballarat hosted the first Victorian regional RocKwiz show in 2013 at Her Majesty’s Theatre and raised more than $38,000 for The Courier’s Charity Fund.
Tickets go on sale Monday.
