In a see-sawing match, the Panthers actually drew close to the Devils in the third term at Darley Park and found themselves right in the match late in the quarter.
Four consecutive goals had the margin at just 20 points deep into time on in the third quarter, but from that point onwards it was all one-way traffic.
Darley piled on six last quarter goals, including two to both Dane Grenfell and Jake Edwards, who finished with seven and five goals respectively.
Grenfell was named best on ground for Darley, while William Thornton-Gielen received the honours for his side.
Brody Sullivan kicked three goals for Melton South, while Jordan Sinclair and Nathan Reardon kicked two.
