Wednesday night will mark the Circus Royale’s grand opening, with a two-hour show starting proceedings at the Ballarat Showgrounds from 7pm.
High flying acrobats, the globe of death and canine football will headline the traditional show, which runs from August 5-9.
The four-metre-wide globe of death, the show’s masterpiece, features several motorbike riders roaring around a 360-degree sphere at speeds up to 80km/h.
However, onlookers will also be treated to colourful ringmasters, baby camels, dancing horses and superb juggling skills.
