The community music initiative gives artists a chance to break into the music industry by calling on musicians and bands to submit an original song for the chance to win an ultimate kick-starter pack.

The winner will receive a two-day recording session at Sing Sing studios, a film clip by Oh Yeah Wow and mentoring from the industry's finest.

Melbourne Music Bank ambassador and ARIA award-winner Ella Hooper said she was excited to be back on board as part of this year's competition.

"It's such a fun competition to be involved with and a fantastic opportunity for emerging artists to get a leg up,” she said.
