Students at Mt Pleasant Primary School had the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of computers from an expert in the field on Wednesday.

Australian Catholic University ICT Specialist and Lecturer, Rupert Russell visited as part of the CSIRO’s Scientist in School Program.

Grade 5/6 teacher Jenny Dyer said the students learnt about magnetism, took hard drives apart and the children explored inside computers and how data is stored.
