Despite leading the under-18 football competition and having six more wins than Power, the Rebels are making the trip without four of their biggest stars.
All-Australian Jacob Hopper and Darcy Tucker, who played with the North Ballarat Roosters in the VFL on Sunday, are being rested, while Vic Country representative Yestin Eades is 23rd player with the Roosters.
The loss with the biggest repercussions though is that of All-Australian Jarrod Berry, who will not play again this season after having shoulder reconstruction. He was injured in the Rebels’ latest outing on August 1.
Another exciting type Nicholas Hausler is out after rolling an ankle.
Jermaine Jones from Heywood will make his TAC Cup debut as 23rd player.
North Ballarat has also added key defender Hasker Dawborn, lively Northern Territory representative Ezekiel Frank, Joel Cowan, Ben Lusby and Todd Lawrence into the line-up.
