The camera-loving creature turns 30 on Sunday and is the world's oldest bare-nosed wombat.
Patrick, affectionately known as Paddy, kicked off his week-long birthday celebrations on Tuesday at his home – Ballarat Wildlife Park.
He was spoiled with his very own wheelbarrow, mountains of presents and a delicious looking cake.
Ballarat Wildlife Park owner Julia Leonard said Patrick was lapping up the attention.
Patrick is now searching for a soulmate so he can enjoy his favourite pastimes with a companion.
“He’s on Tinder and hoping to attract a similar female,” Ms Leonard said.
“He’s after someone who enjoys late night, especially dusk and dawn, can dig a good hole and enjoys feeding him carrots.”
Patrick is one of the of Ballarat Wildlife Park’s longest term residents – he was rescued by the owners on the side of the road in 1986.
“His secret to his long life is that he has been well looked after,” Ms Leonard said.

Patrick, unperturbed by the all the fuss, could not wait to nestle back into his burrow and have a midday siesta – after all it’s hard work being a star attraction.
