Ms Alexander’s will venture to the Ballarat Library at 2.30pm on September 18.
Her sixth novel, Wild Lands, is set to hit shelves in the same month.
Ms Alexander currently manages her family farm in drought-stricken Australia.
She is also a former model and a fourth-generation grazier.
Her debut novel, The Bark-Cutters, remains the highest selling debut novel in the rural literature genre and was shortlisted for an Australian Book Industry Award in 2011.
She has sold over 100,000 books in Australia alone, while her poetry, travel and genealogy articles have been published worldwide.
