Firefighters attend several blazes in the region

BALLARAT firefighters were busy on Tuesday, with officers attending four jobs overnight. Firefighters were called to a bushland fire in Scarsdale at 7.15pm which was quickly extinguished. Officers were called to a tree fire on the Glenelg Highway just after 10.30pm believed to have been deliberately lit. Firefighters attended a false alarm at Woolworths on Albert Street in Sebastopol at 3.30am followed by a false alarm at Officeworks on Creswick Road at 5.40am.
